Eva Szentiványi works with sculpture, utensils and painting. She is educated at Konstfack and a member of Konsthantverkarna in Stockholm, (GKF in Visby) and Konsthantverkscentrum. Her work is represented at the Röhsska Museum in Gothenburg.

The main material is ceramic, but she often uses other materials such as textiles, wood and metal. She is interested in the individual's relationship to places, and in what she does not understand but must express. The place, the context, the story guide her work. She works collage-like and poetically, the material's properties are inspiring and guiding.
