The music is written for this occasion by Maria Backlund (Gotland), Sacha Ratcliffe (Canada, from residence via Composer Center) and Linnéa Grimstedt which is designed by Stjärnkören (Gotlands Kulturskola), Visbykören, Nycirkus Gotland and Kulturskolan's dancers.

Transform and Swedish Form Gotland invites you to an exhibition that takes you through the privileged and the awkward side of design.
Part of the exhibition is based on our study 'Transform -New structures for the design industry'. We also get to meet the visionaries! Those who have left the main road and trodden new paths in the design field for themselves and others. Our exhibiting designers are Vanessa Fernandez, BOOM !, Malin Busck, Emelie Röndahl, Dawn Wong, Majority Design and Communication, Catherine Anyango Günewald and Stoorstålka.

The theme is Power in the design industry. The program consists of regionally and nationally active designers who through their work challenge outdated structures in the design industry and panel discussions with a special focus on being active in the creative industries in rural areas.

An art exhibition at Gotlands Kulturrum
Magnus Lind has at the moment left the colorful lines that characterize his art exhibition at Länsteatern 2017.
Today he lets joy, pondering and sorrow sweep over a black and white landscape. He has gone into and dug into the inner images, reflections and memories, and let them flow freely three the melancholic the source. A little unexpectedly, both humor and sadness have found expression on my gray-black canvases.
Marie Nilsson Lind plays the piano and Magnus the accordion below the vernissage from their joint report.
Marie has also received permission from the publisher to read from her forthcoming book JOSA'S BOOK, MY STORY which will be released on 29 February.
The opening will take place in collaboration with the dancer Unn Dahlman who makes a movement shaping the meaning of the paintings and in harmony with the artist couple Marie and Magnus joint music

Sacha Ratcliffe is a Montreal-based sound artist, with a residency at the Center of Composers in Visby. Her practice is varied and collaborative - working in film, television, and new media. Her sound pieces have been crafted and presented in such places as, France, Germany, Portugal, Iceland and Sweden.
